Middle School Physics
All of our tutors are experienced teachers at highly regarded, competitive schools, who have taught their subjects extensively and have received excellent student evaluations throughout their careers.
Some topics you will see
- Basic graphs of displacement vs. time, velocity vs. time, and acceleration vs. time
- Labs involving projectiles and graphing of data
- Introduction to concepts such as force and momentum, mass vs. weight, and the laws of thermodynamics.
- Springs and simple pendulums.
- Introduction to vectors.
Help with Labs
This is often the first science course where a student learns about collecting and tabulating data, making hypotheses, and developing simple experiments. What is a control, and why would you run one? Work with one of our tutors and learn why.
Working Online
As long as you have an internet connection, we have a middle school or high school science teacher available to help. You can share files with us and we can send you problems that are exactly like what you are going to see on your next test. We can then work on problems with you on the interactive whiteboard, which allows for simultaneous viewing and corrections, just as if we were sitting together at your kitchen table.
